Diana (“Di”) Alexander has undertaken the role of Creative Arts Consultant for Wagga Wagga and Griffith Districts since February 2002.
Since the commencement of her teaching career she has been consistently involved in a wide variety of creative arts programs at school, district, regional and state levels. She has successfully taught Creative Arts programs in K-12 situations, initiated and led training and development for teachers and carried out leadership roles such as Assistant Principal and Relieving Principal.
At a personal level she has engaged in a broad range of training in all four art forms and undertaken a large number of highly successful leading performance roles at semi professional and amateur levels involving music (Singing) drama and dance, private music teaching (Singing) and visual arts pursuits.
Di’s qualifications include:
Master of Education (The University of Sydney)
PDU Certificate in Secondary Music Teaching (Department of Education Professional Development Unit)
Diploma of Education majoring in Drama (Riverina College of Advanced Education)
HSC Practical Music Marker
As Creative Arts Consultant, Di is concentrating on supporting schools in the implementation of the K-6, 7-10 and Stage 6 Creative Arts Syllabuses and assisting in Inter-district arts events.
