Di Alexander, Creative Arts Consultant for Wagga Wagga and Griffith districts, has worked in accordance with state and district Creative Arts priorities and policies. She has supported teaching practice so that district students are accessing syllabus outcomes in mandatory or elective syllabuses.
This has been achieved through the following:

Education Week 2003 was celebrated through 56 performances from 20 Wagga Wagga District Schools during 12 sessions of public performances in the Wagga Wagga Market place. A wide variety of district schools’ artworks were included in the display.
These celebrations also included the Wagga Wagga Primary Choir and Wagga Wagga Teachers’ Choir., directed by Judy Ferguson, accompanied by David Wall. A teachers and community jazz ensemble, directed by David Wall, was also featured in an evening for teachers.
Students from both districts were selected to exhibit their art works in the HSC Exhibition at the Wagga Wagga Regional Art Gallery.
“grUnge macBeth”, an original rock opera, lyrics adapted by director Peter Cox and score by Ken McBeath, was a joint initiative of the Riverina Theatre Company and the Department of Education and Training, incorporating students from Wagga Wagga High Schools.
